Data Retention & Automatic Deletion — TrashMail.in
Last updated:11/12/2025
This page explains how long temporary emails are stored on TrashMail.in, how deletion works, and what happens to expired inboxes. Our service prioritizes privacy and ensures that all temporary email data is automatically removed without manual intervention.
1. Email Retention Time
Emails received on TrashMail.in are stored temporarily. Each generated inbox has a limited lifespan. After this time has passed, all messages associated with that inbox are automatically removed.
We do not retain emails beyond their expiration window.
2. Automatic Deletion Process
TrashMail.in uses an automated system to delete messages and inboxes without manual action:
Once an inbox reaches its expiration time, all stored emails are deleted permanently.
No user identity is linked to the temporary inbox.
The system periodically clears expired messages from storage.
This deletion process helps ensure user privacy and maintain system efficiency.
3. No Backups or Recovery Options
TrashMail.in does not maintain backups of emails received on temporary inboxes. After a message or inbox is deleted, it cannot be:
Restored
Recovered
Viewed again
Provided to the user in any form
This is a core privacy feature of our service.
4. User Control & Limitations
Because TrashMail.in does not store personal data or user accounts, you cannot request deletion of specific inboxes or messages. All deletion happens automatically based on our retention schedule.
Users are encouraged to save any important information from temporary emails before the inbox expires.
5. Security & Storage Methods
We follow privacy-first practices:
Emails are stored only temporarily.
No long-term archives or logs of message content exist.
Inboxes are isolated and not associated with real identities.
All connections to TrashMail.in use HTTPS encryption.
6. Important Limitations
Because messages are automatically deleted:
We are not responsible for loss of information after deletion.
We cannot retrieve expired emails.
Users must avoid sending or receiving important, sensitive or critical data using temporary inboxes.
